I earned my bachelor's degree in Special Education from Slippery Rock University .
I have had many different teaching experiences throughout the years. I started out teaching children with emotional disabilities in Yough School District. Six years later, I had the opportunity to go to Southmoreland School District and teach in an Emotional Support classroom. I remained in that class for six years and then worked as an Early Intervention Itinerant Teacher throughout Westmoreland County for two years. This is my third year teaching at Clairview School as a Secondary Family and Consumer Science & Reading teacher. I am finally where I am meant to be!!My husband Tim and I have a son and two daughters. Their names are Sammy, Shelby, and Emily. We also have a dog named Ruutu. When I'm not at school, I like to spend most of my time with my family & friends. Some of my hobbies include: playing softball, going to the beach , watching Steeler games, and listening to music.
